Spirit’s latest Red Light Specials - rates start at $34

It pays to check Cheapflights often - especially on the weekends, and the beginning of the week. That’s when discount airline Spirit’s Red Light specials soar. Book and buy by 11:59pm tomorrow (Tuesday, July 16) and land a discount airfare as low as $34.

These discount airfares are valid from August 14 through February 14, 2008.

The main restriction is that you’ll have to travel on off-peak days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Business travelers don’t fly on these days as frequently. That mean airlines can afford to offer deeper discounts.

Live large in Las Vegas – Delta’s first-class contest

Live large in Las Vegas – Delta’s first-class contest

Ever wanted to live the life of a high roller in Las Vegas (LAS)? Delta Vacations is running a contest that will let you live out a few (just a few) fantasies: First-Class air for two, a limo waiting at the airport, three-nights at the posh Bellagio, and $1,000 to spread about. That’s the grand prize.

The first prize isn’t bad either: Coach-Class airfare for two, three nights at the MGM Grand – The City of Entertainment, and round-trip airport transfers.

Enter by booking a Delta Vacations package to Las Vegas. Be sure to enter the promotion code LIVIN when making your reservation. Alternately, enter by going to www.deltavacations.com and click on “Livin’ Large”.

If you do book a Vegas vacation, you’ll have to do so by July 15, and travel by December 27.

No purchase is necessary to win, and a purchase will not increase your chances of winning a prize.
